Kaltcheva joins Pronet as new CTO to oversee developer expansion

Pronet Gaming has appointed Nedda Kaltcheva as its Chief Technology Officer, with the task of overseeing the expansion of the company’s developers as it seeks to enhance its technological offering.

The new appointee will be primarily based in Pronet’s recently opened office in Sofia, Bulgaria, where Kaltcheva will work to mobilise resources to deliver on the company’s expansion plans and maintain its ‘technological prowess’ in the iGaming industry, having recently incorporated two new widgets into its offering.

“Our plans for next year are ambitious, to say the least, with some big announcements on the immediate horizon,” said Alex Leese, Pronet Gaming CEO.

“With that in mind, it’s fantastic to have Nedda on board as so much of this depends on our technology capabilities being first-class. The IT expertise and industry experience she brings to the table is clear for everybody to see and she is going to be a major asset to Pronet Gaming.”

Prior to joining Pronet, Kaltcheva gained extensive iGaming experience at a range of companies, having most recently held the position of Director of Engineering and CTO at William Hill International, PokerStars and SimpleBet.

Additionally, the new CTO has experience of corporate management from roles in both the US and Middle East, has worked in a variety of software development positions and is a Co-Founder of Tipstly, an AI-driven betting sights firm.

Kaltcheva remarked: “I am passionate about all things technology, gaming, diversity and innovation oriented, so Pronet Gaming was clearly the right choice for me.

“It’s such an exciting time to be coming on board, with some huge projects just around the corner. I look forward to building dynamic new relationships as these come to fruition and Pronet Gaming continues to grow.”
