Sea The Sun leads BetBright’s quest for Tipster Challenge glory

BetBright Marketing Communications Manager Conor White has signed up for a second shot at the Tipster Challenge in today’s eight-race meet at Pontefract.

During the Jump Season Tipster Challenge back in March, it was a case of the wrong horses coming up trumps for White, who landed three winners for just 3.62 points.

This time around, he is chasing down competition leader Sarah Shannon (OneBet), who sits on top of the pile after collecting 10.38 points at Hamilton in June.

Stephen Harris, the horse racing guru at bettingexpert, is still in second place with an average of 8.60 points after 11 weeks of action.

bettingexpert: Bollin Ted

Can complete a hat-trick with his stable in terrific form.

BetBright: Bollin Ted

In fine fettle and can land a third win in a row if acting on the ground, went on GS last time and battled well.

bettingexpert: Chief Justice

Bred to be useful and can make a winning debut.

BetBright: Dowitcher

This has cut up to look a weak contest and newcomer Dowitcher is suggested for warm connections.

bettingexpert: Spinart

Had an excuse last time and had been shaping well in defeat previously.

BetBright: Spinart

Pam Sly trained 4yo is dropped in trip and might find this suiting better, should go on soft ground and has ability than shown to date.

bettingexpert: Hot Beat

Has become expensive to follow but could be revived by a first-time hood and a drop in class.

BetBright: Icefall

Course and Distance winner who will go on the ground is dropped in class and should go close for Tim Easterby.

bettingexpert: Seamster (Nap of the Day)

Has been knocking loudly on the door at this level and should go very close if ridden forwards from a plum draw in stall one.

BetBright: Sea The Sun (Nap of the Day)

Will handle the ground and goes well here, has a very handy claim and is dropped in grade.

bettingexpert: Echo Of Lightning

Should get a positive ride and will take plenty of passing.

BetBright: Echo Of Lightning

Sadly, this is down to four runners but Brian Ellison’s runner is in good form and will love underfoot conditions.

5:10

bettingexpert: Equiano Springs

Unexposed after just five career starts and could be very well handicapped off this lowly mark.

BetBright: Harwoods Volante

Might be able to dominate these and is on a fair mark to score this afternoon.

bettingexpert: Thornaby Nash

Has caught the eye in defeat a couple of times this summer in big fields and might improve for more positive tactics.

BetBright: Bucacaneers Cove

Not won yet for Fahey but shouldn’t be dismissed and in a wide open contest can do better than form to date at a big price.
