Premier League tips: Arsenal to hold West Ham to a draw

As the football season gears up for the final furlong, the tipsters on are in full flow. Here is what some of the key ones are tipping in the Premier League this weekend:

Home-field Advantage: Southampton v Newcastle United

Tipster h3ctor is confident that Southampton will take the win at home against Newcastle.

With over 225 tips in the league, h3ctor is an avid PL spectator, and rationalises his pick based on Newcastle’s less than stellar performance this season, with only 25 points to date. This has seen them slip to 19th in the table.

Southampton meanwhile are having much more fun, they recently beat Liverpool at home and form wise the Saints are the far stronger of the two. H3ctor’s selected bookmaker, Matchbook, seems to agree with this prediction—its giving odds of 1.60 in favour of the home team.

Confidence Stake: 9/10

Victory on the Road: Sunderland v Leicester City

The Leicester fairytale season continues, and with a four game winning streak, tipster Andythepandy is pointing to them to keep it up.

On the other side of the table is Sunderland, who are on an uninspiring and frustrating run of four consecutive draws.

That said Sunderland have only lost one of their last six home games but regardless Andythepandy is not of the opinion that they have what it takes to break through Leicester’s resolute defence, even with a home crowd behind them.

Our tipster has been correct for 3 of his last 5 tips, and he’s feeling confident that this one will up his numbers even further. The odds are not as strong for Leicester’s away match as they are for Southampton’s home game. Matchbook is giving Leicester odds of 2.23 though this still hasn’t shaken AndythePandy’s confidence.

Confidence Stake: 9/10

Value Angle: West Ham United v Arsenal—To end in a Draw

This bet is a bit riskier, but yields a potentially high reward. With odds of 3.86 from Matchbook, tipster N3essiy is feeling comfortable with this prediction.

Looking at West Ham’s record at home this season, combined with Arsenal’s embarrassing loss to West Ham last time these two met, N3essiy thinks that a draw is the likeliest result.

Confidence Stake: 6/10
