Stockholm-listed online gambling group LeoVegas AB is seeking new engineering talent to join its IT hub in the Swedish city Vaxjo (Kronoberg county).

This weekend, LeoVegas HR launched an innovative marketing campaign advertising in ‘code’ the vacancies the operator seeks to recruit, throughout Vaxjo’s city billboard.

Operating since 2011, LeoVegas maintains three offices within its home market of Sweden located in Stockholm for management, whilst hubs in Vaxjo and Vasteras specialist in IT support and product development.

In 2018, Group CEO Gustaf Hagman announced that LeoVegas would expand its IT teams in the city of Vaxjo, stating to Swedish media that ‘LeoVegas could not expand in Stockholm alone’.

In its corporate update, LeoVegas details that it seeks ‘seasoned developers and further engineering talent’ supporting the firm’s global operations.

LeoVegas Communications Director Hans Uhrus commented: “We have many vacancies in LeoVegass For Vaxjo talent, we are seeking among other Platform Front-End Engineers, Engineers JavaScript and backend engineers.

“When the competition is tough on future colleagues it is important to be visible and think innovatively in their advertising. Using traditional communication channels combined with new ones,  we aim for  much higher visibility and attention of our vacancies.”
