Betfred boosts KYC muscle with HooYu ID provisions

Seeking to bolster its all-round customer on-boarding provisions, meeting new UK Gambling Commission (UKGC) online gambling regulatory requirements, Betfred has partnered with digital ID verification solutions provider HooYu.

Betfred has been utilising HooYu’s platform ID provisions since April, helping the bookmaker to improve its KYC procedures as all UK licensed incumbents are required to undertake stringent ID checks on customer verification enforced by the UKGC.

David de la Yesa, Director of Payments & Fraud at Betfred, underlined that the HooYu has delivered a best-fit solution for its business, allowing the betting firm to optimise its KYC procedures whilst providing a seamless customer journey.
