Multi-currency sportsbook Sportsbet.io, has added to its current offering of payment capabilities by integrating Litecoin into its platform.
In addition to being able to pay using other cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, and SOC coin,customers will also now have the opportunity to deposit, play, win, and withdraw in Litecoin.

Developed in 2011, Litecoin has grown in popularity as a cryptocurrency in recent years, now listed as the third most popular altcoin behind Ethereum and Bitcoin. The new currency option is expected to allow payments to be processed at new speeds, while also significantly reducing current transaction fees.
Sister casino site, Bitcasino.io, integrated Litecoin into its pioneering crypto gaming offering in February 2019 which consequently resulted in a deposits increase of 22 per cent.
Earlier this year the leading online bookie announced its sponsorship debut ahead of the Sportsbet.io CONIFA Euros 2019, set to take place in June this year.
