NASDAQ listed gambling technology suppliers Scientific Games Corporation, has announced that it is bringing lottery game entertainment to the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Launching the National Lottery of Kazakhstan it was detailed that JSC Satty Zhuldyz is to operate the offering, after being awarded a 15 year contract, with Scientific Games serving as the exclusive supplier of all games, technology and services.
Alexandr Ten, President of JSC Satty Zhuldyz, stated that this development is to add “enormous entertainment” for players, in addition to driving revenue for the government to support the Kazakhstan Ministry of Sports and Culture, including the national Olympic team.
Ten added: “We are excited to work with Scientific Games to launch a socially responsible lottery in partnership with the Kazakhstan government.
“Our goal is to bring the fun and entertainment of lottery to the Republic of Kazakhstan by employing Scientific Games’ 40 years of security, integrity and best practices launching highly successful lotteries around the globe.”
Launching across a network of approximately 3,000 retailers within the country will be lottery instant “scratch” games and draw games, including numbers and Keno, serving the ninth largest country in the world, by geographical size, “and the region’s economic powerhouse generating 60 percent of Central Asia’s GDP.

This follows Scientific Games being awarded two 2018 Communitas Awards, in recognition of the firms environmental efforts, in print and manufacturing processes and reduction of its global footprint, and humanitarian relief, when providing support to the US island territory of Puerto Rico when back to back hurricanes caused widespread devastation.
