Reaching new audiences: “Alexa, Enable Soccer Saturday Super 6”

Daily flash briefings for Sky Bet’s Super 6, including latest predictions from Jeff Stelling and Paul Merson, are now available through Alexa.

Players of the free-to-play online game will also be able to access a host of popular content from Sky Games and the top weekend football show through Amazon Echo and Echo Dot.

The service can be enabled via the Alexa app or by saying “Alexa, enable Soccer Saturday Super 6”. Audio briefings will be played through Amazon Echo and Echo Dot devices, while video briefings will also be available when Echo Show – the first Echo with a display— arrives in the UK on 16 November.

Going live on Alexa is just the first phase of plans for Super 6, created by Sky in 2010 to run alongside Soccer Saturday. The next step is to develop interactive content and additional skills for Alexa, which will allow players to make voice selections as part of the game and more.

Andy Evans, Senior Product Manager, said: “This is a really exciting development for Super 6 – it’s an innovative use of content and a fantastic opportunity to reach our audiences in new places. It’s a hassle-free way to make the latest Super 6 news synonymous with a player’s daily routine and the convenience of high quality of content from the nation’s favourite football presenters is unbeatable.”
