Check & Collect – TAB

TAB has combined the best of retail and mobile betting with ‘Check and Collect’, a product which makes it easier for Australian punters to enjoy their betting experience.

The new product combines TAB’s strong retail presence with technology which allows customers to check their betting ticket and vouchers by using bar-code technology via the TAB app. If a customer scans a winning ticket, they will be able to deposit the winnings directly into their TAB account.

Craig Nugent, TAB Chief Operating Officer, said: “The Check & Collect product is yet another example of TAB’s omni-channel approach and the benefit it has for our customers who enjoy both betting in retail and via mobile.

“It’s an experience that our competitors simply can’t offer and allows punters to access their winnings much faster. Now punters no longer have to worry about having a wallet full of bet tickets and can get access to their winnings via the app. After how well punters have embraced the Quaddie Cashout, we believe this product will be equally popular with several other exciting products in store for 2017.”

The new Check & Collect feature comes only months after TAB unveiled another Australia first, the Quaddie Cashout, which allows punters to cash out a ‘quaddie’, fully or partially, at any time after the running of the first leg.
