Playtech selects GBG as ID network verification partner

maclovinSecurity and ID provisions software provider GBG has confirmed that it has secured global ID verification partnership with igaming technology supplier Playtech.

GBG will service Playtech’s licensee network with customer ID verification and security technology through its IMS platform. The provisions will be offered throughout Playtech’s diverse product range, including its recently incorporated financial trading services division.

The ID software supplier stated that Playtech had chosen its services as they offered greater flexibility, combined with intelligent solutions which would require no need to adapt its technical infrastructure.

Shimon Akad, COO, Playtech, commented on the partnership

“It is our goal to support our operators with true end-to-end, Omni-Channel solutions, offering a seamless player experience across all channels and devices. We partner with the very best in our industry to ensure our licensees can immediately and securely integrate with the most robust and innovative tools available.

“That service begins with player onboarding but also includes campaign management, fraud and risk management and transaction monitoring. Working with GBG, we are able to offer the best identity intelligence solutions on the market,” Akad added.

Peter Murray, Head of gaming at GBG, said: “In the gaming sector, operators are keen to build an environment of trust that protects both player and business. That starts with the collection and verification of the personal data that gets shared across a player’s lifecycle.
