Ahead of the iGaming Super Show ( Amsterdam 23-26 June), SBC caught with up Betradar Sales Director Andreas Meyer to discuss sports data services and provisions for affiliate and marketing partners.

Meyer outlines how extended data solutions can help affiliate drive more engaging content to their audience, and further gain affiliates and media partners marketing and brand individuality in a saturated market conditions.

SBC: Hi Andreas, great to interview you. Can you detail for SBC readers Betradar affiliate services and products and how they help engage traffic?

AM: Hi SBC, it’s a pleasure to share some thoughts ahead of the iGaming Super Show. Besides our market-leading betting, streaming and virtual solutions, Sportradar and in particular our brand Betradar also offers services that let affiliate businesses bloom. These sports data solutions are based on our in-house produced sports data coverage of over 320,000 events per year. The result is an offering of around 20 sports data widgets that can be integrated into any website or mobile application featuring exclusive content and providing affiliates various advertising and branding opportunities. The engaging live data visualisation of our widgets definitely lets affiliates stand out from their competitors by increasing the visit duration of their users and stimulate them to place bets on their betting partners’ websites.

SBC: As a sports data provider Betradar has worked with numerous multinational organisations and bodies. However how have you tailored your data services  for  the sports betting affiliates and partners?

AM: Currently, over 450 bookmaker clients worldwide rely on our products and services. This figure shows that Betradar understands the needs of betting operators but also the demand of punters worldwide. Our solutions for affiliates are built for betting, that means we deliver sports data widgets that feature essential pre-match and live statistics and stimulate punters to place their bets, as this is really helping the business of affiliate partners.

SBC: Affiliate and sports media services are looking to become more independent and unique in their marketing, brand and content, how can your data services help them achieve this?

AM: Our solutions provide full flexibility for affiliate and media companies. All solutions can be customized in regards to size, colourings, branding and also various advertising opportunities. Within our Widget Centre for example, our clients can directly customise the widgets they want to use, generate HTML codes and integrate their personalised solution into their websites within minutes. SBC: In terms of sports data content, how do you feel that consumer habits and trends are evolving? What future factors should marketing partners be preparing for?
