Synot agrees OPAP VLT services partnership

Czech Republic gambling provisions operator Synot Group has confirmed that it will supply 2,000 video lottery terminals (VLT) to Greek licensed gambling operator OPAP.

Synot services have been selected to be one of four primary VLT suppliers for OPAP the Greek monopoly gambling operator.

Commenting on the agreement Ivo Valenta, chairman of SYNOT’s board of directors, stated

“We consider this as an important step forward, I firmly believe that our success is based on our 20 years experience in the lottery industry as well as on the fact of operating all around the world,” he said. “I do believe that this fact opens the door to the second-round tender as the company OPAP is about to start another tender on 18,500 VLTs.”

The selection of Synot Group services by OPAP sees the gambling supplier expand its services on 13 European jurisdictions. Synot further stated that it would looks to expand additional Greek gambling services including IT provisions, product content and in-store provisions.
