Slingo Riches wins ICE Game to Watch 2015’ title

Gaming Realms ‘Slingo Riches’ has been voted as ‘Game to Watch 2015’ by ICE 2015 conference delegates. The online and social gambling operator was awarded the title at the ICE 2015 ‘Game Design & Development’ focus conference.

Gaming Realms pitched their game to a panel of industry judges comprised of Bruce Bale of Sky Betting and Gaming, Shane Stafford from Paddy Power, Plumbee’s Raf Kaustermans, Yariv Lavi of 888 Holdings, and Mark Clohessy from Betclic Everest Group.

The operator beat off competition from game titles developed by SUNFox Games, Genesis Gaming, Unusual Studios, Virtual Intellectual Projects.

Slingo Riches is a new online hybrid bingo-slot title designed by in-house by Gaming Realms. The Slingo title had been popular casual game on AOL and Zynga Facebook verticals, with a potential reach of 50 million users.

David Hampstead, Chief Technology Officer of Gaming Realms, was on hand to pick up the award on behalf of the company.

Unusual Studios was praised by the judges for its ‘Epic Eleven’ fantasy sports title, which has been tested and is ready to launch, with the company currently seeking partners in various markets. A new virtual sports title in the form of ‘Virtual Boxing’ from Virtual Intellectual Projects could also cause waves in the sports betting market.
