Unibet agrees Wi-Fi partnership with Celtic FC

celticliveUnibet and Scottish Premier League Champions Celtic FC have agreed an exclusive W-Fi and betting partnership.

The agreement was brokered by sports media agency Sports Revolution and will allow Celtic supporters to access Unibet sports betting inventory at Celtic Park  stadium via the CelticLive app.

The deal will give Unibet potential coverage to over 155,000 Celtic FC fans who have registered for stadium Wi-Fi

Simon Hills, commercial director of Sports Revolution, said: “Stadium Wi-Fi has huge potential for commercial partners to offer services that enhance the matchday experience for fans.

“Betting is a perfect fit, especially as in-play odds complement the real-time content we are serving fans through the app.”

Ed Nicholson, head of UK marketing operations at Unibet, added: “We are excited by the potential of stadium Wi-Fi for matchday betting, allowing us to add a new dimension for fans.

“Live betting is the future of online sports betting, and this is a perfect way to fuel that demand and for us to make a mark. We expect it to take off with other clubs and wanted to get in early with this first application at the UK’s first fully connected stadium, Celtic Park.”
