Asian gambling technology supplier AGTech Holdings has acquired mobile development and lottery operator Score Value for a sum of $63 million. The acquisition of Score Value will see AGTech augment its product portfolio, by offering mobile lottery services for the Chinese market.

AGTech senior management have labelled the acquisition as a company milestone. Score Value currently supplies more than 20 provinces and municipalities in China.

The mobile development operator had been in discussions with Chinese authorities to allow it clearance to offer mobile lottery services to select China regions.

John Sun,  AGTECH Chairman and CEO commented on the acquisition

“As well as strengthening our hardware business, this acquisition promises to position us as a first-mover in the hugely exciting mobile smartphone lottery system and content supply market in China,” Sun said.

Hong Kong-listed AGTech is largely focused on gaming technologies – including game software, systems, hardware and terminals and providing integrated lottery services in China and elsewhere.
