bwin.party announced its latest venture into the social gaming market with the launch of social sports betting game, “Sportster – Bet and Win”.
The Facebook based social game was developed in a collaboration between social games developer Nordeus and bwin.party’s social gaming development studio Win.
At present the game does not allow for real money transactions, as players compete for social rewards and virtual currency.
Sportster lets its users place virtual currency bets on live soccer matches being played in the English Premier League, German Bundesliga and Spain’s Primera División.
Nordeus announced the game would debut on Facebook, with a view to test football fans game intuition and knowledge.
Sportster represents social gaming developer Nordeus first steps into the social betting market.The Serbian developer has created popular sports themed games for Facebook users such as top performing title Top Eleven, which has garnered more than 12 million active users on mobile and Facebook platforms.

Sporster is currently available to Facebook users under beta testing (product available in 15 languages)
