Betfair has partnered IT analytics service and maintenance provider Nexthink to monitor the performance of its European igaming services.
The Nexthink V5 solution is set to monitor the igaming operators IT networks, reporting on technical infrastructures, potential blocks, user and usage functionalities and network bandwidth. Betfair have selected Nexthink due to the companys knowledge and capabilities of servicing large scale digital platforms for multinational companies.
Betfair said it has launched the solution as a result of the increased betting activity around the FIFA World Cup in Brazil, allowing it to better monitor site performance around the tournament.
The operator’s chief information officer Michael Bischoff said that having previously used separate solutions for monitoring different aspects of its estate such as desktops, security and administration rights, Nexthink’s V5 allowed the company to consolidate all areas under one product and had helped Betfair identify and resolve performance issues.
“We need to make sure that every element of our technical estate is match fit, and the end-user perspective that Nexthink offers of our entire IT infrastructure will help us achieve this goal,”
