Cohen Joins Akamon Studios as Chief Product Officer

Social gambling studio Akamon have announced the appointment of Alex Cohen as Chief Product Officer. Cohen joins the from gambling software provider – Quickspin, where Cohen headed up game design for four years.

Cohen will be tasked with managing all product verticals for the Spanish based social gaming studio. Cohen has been further supported with the recent news that Akamon would be opening a new studio in Israel which would focus on product design and game development. The Israel based studios, would support Akamon operational offices in Barcelona and Valencia.

Alex Cohen was selected by Akamon due to his deep knowledge of developing casino based games for platforms. Akamon are now set to focus future game development on mobile verticals, as the company looks to re-energize its operations.
