Gala Coral have announced its first venture into the social gaming sector, by agreeing a strategic partnership with San Francisco based mobile gaming and social games studio – Ruby Seven Studio. The social games developer is set to develop exclusive social and real money games for the igaming operator, as Coral looks to expand its igaming inventory and create a future acquisition channel for social gambling customers.
Gala Coral have confirmed that the first titles to be released under the new partnership, will be popular land based slot titles The Magician and The Magician Triple Pots. The titles will be launched as free to play products alongside popular slots title Wild Magic. Gala Coral will seek to bridge its online and social gaming inventory with games titles which are available in Coral retail betting shops.
Coral E-gaming director Mark Kemp commented that Ruby Seven’s international social gaming experience and existing customer publishing base would allow the operator to successfully enter the social casino market.
“Coral now has a strong library and development pipeline of slots and other gaming content to provide customers with our games across all channels including social gaming,” Kemp added.
Ruby Seven chief executive Michael Carpenter said he was excited to be working alongside Coral, especially its slots and games development teams.
“We look forward to collaborating to bring a fun and engaging free-to-play slots experience to mobile and Facebook platforms,” Carpenter said.
Ruby Seven has already established partnerships in the online gaming industry, agreeing a deal with gaming device manufacturer Grand Vision Gaming to develop free-to-play versions of its real-money land-based products. The deal followed an agreement with Bluhare Studios to launch TimeQuest slots for iOS, Android, Amazon Kindle and Facebook Canvas.
The studio also secured a $3.5m investment from Chicago-based casino operator Rush Street Gaming, with the deal finalised in January this year
