Michael Mueller co-founder of pre-paid payment provider – paysafecard has stepped down from his position as Chief Executive. Mueller had served as CEO, of the payment services company since 2005, and had been a core member of the founding team in 2000.
Paysafecard announced that Udo Mueller would now be taking over the role of CEO.
paysafecard is one of the oldest online payment services providers, and one of the first internet payment services to offer igaming product deposit and withdrawal services. The service is operated by the majority of igaming operators as a player payment mechanism.
Michael Mueller commented to igamingbusiness.com, on his departure from the payment provider ‘“After 14 years of building and developing the company, my decision to leave paysafecard has not been an easy one.
