David Elmore has joined Gaming Innovation Group (GiG) as its VP Sales for North America, as the igaming provider seeks to capitalise on the US sports betting and gaming sector.
The new hire’s primary role at GiG will be to contribute to and deliver the company’s North American commercial and sales strategy, placing its solutions and services at the forefront of every platform bidding contest.
Prior to joining GiG, Elmore held the position of Global Sales and Development at New Jersey’s GLI gaming regulatory laboratory for 14 years.
In this position, he was responsible for selling solutions to terrestrial casino groups and local tribes – primarily concentrating on testing products – and working closely with the state regulator.
“I am eager to build on the solid foundation that has been developed over the last decade,” Elmore remarked. “GiG is perfectly positioned to partner with state and tribal clients to digitally transform their gaming business and to create a unique customer experience.
Success for GiG and our clients is based on integrity, loyalty, and long-term trust. These core values support the building of GiG’s presence in North America.”
GiG has built upon its early success with Hard Rock in the US by recently signing challenger brand Playstar, which intends to enter both New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Additionally, the company intends to capitalise on the opening of the regulated market in Ontario, and believes that Canada will provide a key opportunity in coming years.
“I am delighted to welcome David to the team and for GiG to be able to leverage his extensive network and knowledge of the complex but very lucrative US market,” said Martin Collins, GiG’s Director of Sales and Business Development, who took on the position last month.
“GiG has a rich history in delivering solutions and we believe our continued innovation across our product portfolio and market-leading services are incredibly relevant in the market and we are sure with David on board, we can accelerate growth in these markets.”
