Kindred Group has announced that a live stream ‘Watch&Bet’ player will make its debut on the Unibet sportsbook app, better-accommodating sports betting customers’ unique live engagements and preferences on mobile devices.
Rolled-out on Unibet’s iOS app, the mobile sportsbook will now feature a watch&bet player, supported by ‘live-odds overlay’ functionalities, delivering a single-screen wagering experience for Unibet mobile customers.
Unibet cites that it has delivered an ‘industry first’, maintaining full wagering options whilst sportsbook customers are engaged with live sports streams.
The launch of Unibet’s enhanced watch&bet player has been made initially available for football and tennis live streams, with Kindred also planning to make its upgraded player available for its Android sportsbook app.
Kindred Chief Product Officer (CPO) Erik Bäcklund underscored that the watch-&-bet enhancements had been undertaken as a key project, focusing on ensuring that Unibet caters for sports audiences live engagement preferences and their desired seamless user experience.
“Thorough customer feedback capturing and innovative internal workshops, we dreamt up a grand vision of how we can transform the in-play betting experience and with this new Watch&Bet player we are one step closer towards that dream,” Bäcklund remarked.
“But we are far from done, this is the foundation, to which numerous building blocks will be added and we are all really excited over the upcoming releases for our sports betting customers.”
