75% increase in sports betting turnover drives NSoft Q1 growth

Software provider NSoft has countered coronavirus headwinds to meet its commercial targets for Q1 2021, reporting strong growth for its sports betting products in particular.

Identifying its Live Sports Betting solution as ‘the best performing product’, NSoft reported a total turnover increase of 75% when compared to the same time period in 2020.

The operator said it ‘raised the sportsbook platform to a new level on all channels’ via the implementation of new functionalities as well as the continuation of its cash out feature.

Additionally, total sportsbook traffic doubled when compared to Q1 2020, whilst overall business turnover grew by 13%, with online operations recording 59% growth.

“The teamwork and commitment of all of us are showing their strength,” said Dražan Planinić, Chief Operating Officer at NSoft. “We have always been known for a strong sense of community within the company and strong ties to the customers.

“We see them as our long-term partners with whom we thrive together. In the long run, our primary focus is a further development of the betting game portfolio and new features of the existing betting solutions, entering new markets, and quality over quantity.”

Driven by its sports betting and online verticals, NSoft has expanded its market presence into four new markets as a result of acquiring new clients in the Central African Republic, Dominican Republic, France and Turkey, reporting strong ‘word of mouth’ marketing in the absence of trade shows and limited travelling options.

Outside of growth in its sportsbook division, NSoft has also attributed the success of casino, lottery and slot products to its promising start to the year.

This has been driven via the provision of its virtual Lightning Lucky Six product and Lightning Roulette casino offering, as well as its NSoftSlots range and AI boosted video management system NSoftVision, utilised by clients for business analytics and surveillance.

Lastly, the firm has developed a full lottery solution based on Betradar’s Unified Odds Feed, covering 6,500 events per week in other 30 countries, in order to ‘satisfy players who like to bet on real lottery draws worldwide’.

However, the company also acknowledged that the COVID-19 pandemic had caused difficulties in its operations, most notably from travel and transportation restrictions, as well as the closure of retail outlets.

Despite these setbacks, NSoft was able to deliver terminals to Poland, Croatia, Belgium, Germany, Romania, Serbia and Montenegro, among other territories, and its betting terminal operations were further bolstered by the finalisation of the acquisition of manufacturer STARK Solutions into its portfolio.

Concluding the Q1 update, Planinić said: “Even after the first quarter, we can recognise the global direction results we are aiming for. We are investing in cooperations with other platform providers such as Playtech, iSoftBet, EveryMatrix, Blue Ocean Gaming, Oryx and many others.

“The business growth and the team morale keep us going. We are finishing a new round of the onboard process for our new 20 colleagues with 13 more to join our team in the following days. New people always bring new ideas and energy, so we are looking forward to an exciting summer with Euro 2020.”
