Crypto-betting operator Coingaming Group has announced a new partnership with UK-based sportsbook software platform Goatgaming, which will see the duo cooperate on risk management and trading.
The deal, initially agreed in December 2019 but delivered in January 2021, will see Coingaming Group – operator of cryptocurrency sports betting site Sportsbet.io – fully integrate Goatgaming’s core sports trading and risk product into its own sportsbook platform.
Goatgaming’s product will be customised to fit Coingaming’s own risk management strategy, with the intention of ensuring the continued delivery of high-quality sports betting services and standards to the firm’s customers.
“Working with the team at Coingaming to deliver and expand on an already world-class sportsbook proposition has been a great experience,” commented Stephen Taylor-Matthews, CEO of Goatgaming.
“We are very happy to be working with one of the industry’s most innovative companies. Coingaming Group is clearly a thought-leader in this space and we are looking forward to seeing our solution being utilised to give customers the best betting experience.”
By integrating Goatgaming’s platform, Coingaming will gain greater control of its trading and risk management operations across its sports betting subsidiary brands.
In addition, the service will centralise the company’s third-party sports feeds into a single, flexible platform, enabling more effective and efficient management.
“Goatgaming’s trading and risk tools give us greater control over both our product and our ability to offer a best-in-class sportsbook,” added Joe McCallum, Director of Sportsbook at the Coingaming Group.
“We always look for partners who can not only grow alongside us, but who are innovative and agile enough to help us adapt to a rapidly evolving market. We’ve been hugely impressed by Goatgaming, and its platform will help us deliver a fantastic sports betting experience to our customers.”
In addition to its latest partnership with Goatgaming, the Coingaming Group has also begun to expand its presence across the sports sponsorship sector.
A recent agreement between Southampton FC and Sportsbet.io saw the latter develop a new VIP fan engagement experience for fans of the Premier League football club, utilising cryptocurrency and virtual reality to recreate ‘the magic of matchday, at home.’
