FSB has strengthened its team ahead of its US entry after confirming the appointments of Larry Pelzer and Mike Van Ermen as the company’s new VP of Sales for North America and VP of Pre-Sales respectively.
Pelzer will be based stateside, with his new role focusing on driving brand awareness and the introduction of FSB’s retail and online product portfolio across the US.
Praising Pelzer’s appointment, FSB lauded his ‘huge experience’ within the gambling industry, having previously worked for real-money mobile gaming platform start-up Playport Gaming as well as Scientific Games.
Pelzer commented: “I am honoured to be joining FSB at what is an incredibly exciting and pivotal time for the business as it gets ready to enter the North American market.”
Prior to joining FSB, Van Ermen has previously served as the Strategic Operations Manager at Circa Sports. In his new role, he will be tasked with identifying potential partners for FSB within the US, which the provider says will be done by ‘leveraging his strong operational experience’.
“I would not have left my previous job if I didn’t see the massive potential and opportunity presented by FSB. From top to bottom, this company has what it takes to be a true market disruptor,” said Van Ermen.
The recruitment of Larry Pelzer and Mike Van Ermen at FSB comes just weeks after the appointment of ex-Kambi CCO Ian Freeman as Chief Revenue Officer and former Resorts Digital Gaming director Bob Akeret as Vice President of Operations, North America.
