SKS365 names Massimiliano Mura as new legal and compliance lead

SKS365 Group, the operating company of Italian bookmaker PlanetWin365, has strengthened its senior leadership with the appointment of Massimiliano Mura as new Group Director of Legal and Compliance divisions.

Prior to joining SKS365, Mura has amassed 13 years of experience in the legal sector, specialising in Italian gambling laws and compliance having served as corporate advisor to SKS365 competitor StanleyBet and its B2B division Magellan Robotech.

Celebrating the new appointment, SKS365 Chief Executive Alexander Martin stated: “Mura has one of the best profiles of the industry and is well known nationally and internationally. Beside his functional expertise he stands to the high motivation and commitment of SKS365.

“With that, he will actively lead and contribute to SKS365 positioning as a responsible, transparent and virtuous operator, who takes care of players and collaboration with the regulators.”

Mura will oversee the legal aspects of SKS365 group activities, taking on responsibilities as compliance lead for Planetwin365, covering retail and online disciplines. He will also lead group due diligence responsibilities on AML reporting, financial monitoring and legal stakeholder management.

Mura’s appointment follows a year of executive and governance changes for SKS365. At the end of 2019, the Italian betting group confirmed the appointment of former Gauselmann Group executive Alexander Martin as its new chief executive.
