Independent gaming software developer and operator, The Gamesys Group, has collaborated with SBTech to launch the new Virgin Bet platform.
Gamesys had launched a competitive tender process to decide upon the supplier of the Virgin Bet brand, with SBTech chosen for the landmark agreement.
Gamesys’ Gibraltar Marketing Director, Simon Mizzi, celebrated the launch of the Virgin Bet brand. He said: “We’re excited to launch Virgin Bet into the world’s most competitive sportsbook market. We believe the Virgin brand has the ability to help change the industry for the better and we look forward to giving our customers the experience we feel they deserve.”
Virgin is set to enter the market by rolling out a “personality-led brand”, focusing upon delivering a “simple-to-use product focusing on providing a straightforward and engaging betting experience”.
Created alongside the Gamesys’ development division, SBTech will power Virgin Bet through a bespoke front-end interface, signifying their extensive technological capabilities and firm commitment to the UK market.
