New industry incumbent Bethard Group has confirmed that it has secured a Danish online gambling licence, expanding the firm’s Scandinavian footprint.

Launched in Q1 2018, Malta-based Bethard seeks to become the industry’s fastest growth online gambling proposition.

Updating the market, Co-Founder and CEO Erik Sharp detailed that his firm was positioning itself to expand its services aggressively within in multiple markets in the coming months.

Sharp is further confident of securing a Swedish online gambling licence, ahead of the market’s re-regulation, incoming for 1 January 2019.

In April 2018, Bethard launched its first advertising campaigns featuring Swedish football legend Zlatan Ibrahimović, who will further act as the betting group’s Global Ambassador.

“We are very satisfied to get a green light in Denmark and we look forward to start growing our presence in the Danish market,” said Erik Skarp, co-founder and CEO of Bethard Group.
