Stockholm-listed European online gambling group Betsson AB has confirmed that it will expand its presence within the regulated Spanish online gambling market, launching a new sportsbook property with industry platform and technology supplier BetConstruct.
Confirming the agreement, Betsson management detailed that it would move to integrate a full-suite BetConstruct sportsbook solution for its Spanish market entry, combining the product with its existing igaming provisions.
The multi-market online gambling group did not disclose whether its Spanish entry would be serviced by one of its flagship sports betting properties (Betsafe, Betsson, Nordicbets) or whether it will choose to create a new ‘Spain-focused’ brand.
Commenting on the partnership Andrea Rossi, Betsson Managing Director for Southern Europe & Latin America said: “We are happy to be partnering with BetConstruct for our new sportsbook venture in Spain.
“BetConstruct is already integrated with our existing technology provider in this market. We have confidence in the product and its functionality. With BetConstruct we will shorten our time to the market and they will help us deliver on our entry plans.”
The Betsson partnership sees BetConstruct expand its footprint as a platform and software supplier for the burgeoning Spanish online betting market. BetConstruct has secured Spanish lead supplier partnerships with ijeugo.es and PASTÓN España
