Industry platform and software provider SBTech has announced an ‘industry first’ becoming the first sportsbook provisions supplier to enter the regulated Cypriot online betting market in partnership with licensed operator Winmasters.
The partnership sees the launch of Winmasters.com.cy online betting portal in both Greek and English languages. SBTech secured its contract, to enter the Cypriot online betting six months ago having won the Winmasters platform tender.
Winmasters is now supported by SBTech in two regulated territories, following its recent launch in the Romanian market. It becomes one of the eight operators to be awarded a Class B license by the Cypriot National Betting Authority (NBA).
Winmasters Sales and Operations Director Christos Protopapas said: “I’m delighted that our ongoing relationship with SBTech continues to bear fruit.
