Ladbrokes Australia continues its marketing and coverage expansion by announcing that it has secured a shirt placement sponsorship with New South Wales NRL Premiership Rugby League side the Newcastle Knights.
The sponsorship will see the Ladbrokes Australia brand (Ladbrokes.com.au) promoted on the back of the Knights’ season 2017 home & away shirts.
The Telstra NRL Premiership season began this March, with Ladbrokes securing the final commercial spot on the Knights jersey. Seeking to boost its brand coverage within Australia’s popular NRL Premiership, Ladbrokes adds the Knights to its existing sponsorship portfolio which includes the Gold Coast Titans.
Ladbrokes Australia Chief Marketing Officer, Jason Kibsgaard commented on the sponsorship:
“They are more than a club, they are a community, and they are a team headed in the right direction. The circle of football life means there will always be ups and downs and the Knights have a strong history and a strong future and that’s the kind of organisation we want to be a part of.”
Ladbrokes Australia sponsors the Newcastle Knights as the club celebrates its 30-year anniversary.
