Sky Betting & Gaming (SB&G) has been named one the UK’s best and fastest growing independent companies by The Sunday Times.

The Leeds-based online betting operator ranked 74th in last weekend’s ‘Sunday Times Grant Thornton Top Track 250’. The list is published every year by the News UK Corporation newspaper which ranks the nation’s fastest-growing private companies.

SB&G was commended by The Times business section for its commitment to employee career development and its proven capital investment in Yorkshire, as the company has expanded its offices in cities of Leeds and Sheffield.

This August 2016 SB&G added 27 technology graduates to its enterprise as part of its internal ‘Sky Betting & Gaming Software Academy’.

Commenting on the firm’s achievement Rob Painter Director of Brand and HR for Sky Betting & Gaming said;

“We’re absolutely delighted to make the top 100, it’s a great start to our second year as an independent company and comes just months after being recognised by GP Bullhound as one of only two tech unicorns (companies valued at $1bn or more) in Yorkshire.

“Not only are we one of the UK’s fastest growing businesses, we’re also striving to be the UK’s Best Digital Business“.
