Ladbrokes has announced the launch of its ‘industry first’ innovation ‘Edit My Acca’ function which will allow players to make changes to their football accumulator bets while matches are in play.

Developed in-conjunction with industry technology providers OpenBet and Playtech, Ladbrokes management, have labelled ‘Edit My Acca’ as a game-changing function for sports betting consumers.

‘Edit My Acca’ will allow Ladbrokes customers to remove unsettled legs from their football accumulators. So, if a match looks to be heading in the wrong direction Ladbrokes’ customers can simply delete that selection from their overall bet.

Ladbrokes launches the application today within its mobile betting verticals, as the operator looks to strengthen its football betting inventory ahead of Euro 2016 (10 June – 10 July)

Dipen Nagda Head of Digital Products for Ladbrokes commented on the launch of ‘Edit My Acca.’

“We already offer an industry-leading insurance offer and acca tracking service. By launching Edit My Acca we are providing customers with another unique and highly engaging feature, giving them more control,”

Detailing further insight of the development of  ‘Edit My Acca’ Ladbrokes noted the joint-cooperation of industry technology providers OpenBet and Playtech in the products development and delivery to achieve optimal user engagement and enhanced functionality.

Ian Chuter, Strategic Advisor, Playtech Sports, commented on the project: “This is a real game changer. If one or two legs of your acca aren’t doing so well, you can remove them and extend your chances of winning, all while matches are in progress.”

OpenBet CEO Jeremy Thompson-Hill showed his support for Edit My Acca, stating

“OpenBet is committed to leading the way in sports betting innovation, and Edit My Acca is the latest exciting new product to be seamlessly integrated via our platform.

“Ladbrokes’ customers will love the new feature, which gives them greater flexibility on their accas, and we look forward to working alongside our partners on more innovative sportsbook products in the future.”
