Sky Betting & Gaming (SB&G) has revealed that it has recruited more than 500 new employees in the past twelve months.
In November 2015, the independent online betting operator detailed that it would implement an £11 million recruitment drive for its new customer hub in Leeds City Center.
Furthermore, SB&G governance revealed that it had expanded its operations into a new floor in its existing Leeds Headquarters at Wellington Place. Combined with the Opening of its new tech-hub at the Eclectic Works in Sheffield, SB&G has become one of the biggest recruiters in Yorkshire.
Speaking at the Leeds Digital Festival, Rob Painter SB&G’s Director of Brand and HR detailed that the company had made more than 500 hires in this financial year, its fastest ever hire rate.
The bookmaker continues its Yorkshire recruitment drive, with 147 live vacancies currently being advertised at Sky Betting & Gaming website, of which 75 are tech based roles that include highly skilled positions for developers, engineers and analysts
