Richard Moross has advised the Ladbrokes’ Board that he will be stepping down as a non-executive director at this year’s AGM on May 5th 2016, and will cease to be a director from that date forwards.

Mr Moross joined the board in May 2012, but will not seek re-election at the Annual Meeting to be held next week. He has decided to step down from the position so that he can devote more time to his other commercial interests.

John Kelly, Ladbrokes Chairman, said: “On behalf of the Board I’d like to thank Richard for his contribution, particularly through the revamp of our digital product. We wish him well for the future.”

Richard Moross is well renowned for his work with strategic planning and digital media. He is a digital entrepreneur with more than 15 years of experience in the industry, and spent almost 18 months on the board of Seedcamp, a programme created to jump start the entrepreneurial community in Europe.

He is also the Founder, President and CEO of online print business, Moo.com. Prior to this he worked for design company Imagination, sorted.com and the BBC, and featured in the Guardian Newspaper’s top 10 for most influential people in digital media.
