European sports betting operator Unibet has confirmed that it has extended its betting partnership of cricket’s ‘HERO Caribbean Premier League’ (CPL) for a further two years.

Unibet had been announced official betting partner of the CPL T-20 championship in May 2015.

The continued partnership will see the bookmaker maintain its shirt sponsorship of the St Lucia Zouks franchise, which includes CPL star players Darren Sammy, Shane Watson and Johnson Charles.

Renewing its sponsorship, Unibet marketing stated that it would enhance CPL promotions and offers, making the bookmaker the best place for players to wager on the T-20 championship.

Pete Russell, the Chief Operating Officer of HERO Caribbean Premier League, said: “The CPL is delighted to extend our partnership with Unibet as the tournament’s official betting partner and we look forward to working closely with them over the next two years.”

Unibet United Kingdom Marketing Manager Chris Watson commented on the partnership extension: “We are passionate about cricket at Unibet, and as ‘The Biggest Party in Sport’, the CPL perfectly matches our friendly, passionate and expert brand values.”
