Sky Betting & Gaming sees revenues increase by 36%

FlintSky Betting & Gaming, has released its full year results for the year ended 30 June 2015. The group revenue increased by 36% to £247m, with £117m from Sky Bet (up 56%), £117m from Sky Gaming (up 20%) and £13m from Oddschecker (up 30%).

The total number of customers across the group increased to 1.48m, with the average revenue per customer up by 33%. 80% of the revenue from Sky Bet came from stakes made via mobile.

The company also enjoyed double digit growth across all Sky Gaming products, with 57% of the margin from Sky Vegas and Sky Casino products coming from mobile devices.

Richard Flint, CEO of Sky Betting & Gaming, commented: “The business performed very well in 2014/15 and I am pleased that this momentum has not only continued into 2015/2016 but that we have seen accelerated growth in the first half of this financial year.

“As an independent company that has a strong relationship with Sky, we have continued to benefit from our Sky branding and links. During the year, we invested in both our technology and mobile platforms from our base in Yorkshire and this has helped drive our strong performance.

“We will maintain our focus on these two key areas in 2016 while also growing our team to ensure we are well placed to deliver another strong year of growth.”
