David Haye is making his comeback on Saturday 16th January against Australian Mark de Mori.
The fight will take place at the 02 Arena in Haye’s hometown of London, and there’ll be live coverage courtesy of Dave.
This is the same channel known for airing mostly old comedies, and the fight will be the first sporting event broadcast on it.
William Hill has stated that most bets are being placed against David Haye with 65% of bets placed on a de Mori victory, whilst the most popular bet is on ‘The Haymaker’ to be knocked out in the first round at odds of 80/1.
William Hill PR Executive Jon Ivan-Duke said of the fight: “Punters think David Haye is over the hill and that he’s past his prime, but we think he’s still got more than enough skill to defeat de Mori.”
Haye is priced at odds of 1/25 to win making the former champion the clear favourite for the bout.
Haye has 28 professional fights to his name, and has won 24 of them by knockout. He’s 1/10 to win this one by knockout as he’s threatening in a promo for the fight.
Nicknamed ‘The Dominator’, de Mori has won 30 of his 33 professional matches to date.
