Oddschecker appoints Ryan Murton as digital marketing lead

Sports betting odds comparison portal Oddschecker (Sky Betting & Gaming Group) has confirmed the appointment of Ryan Murton to the newly created role of Head of Digital Marketing.

Murton joins Oddschecker having led SEO and pay per click marketing initiatives for Betfair as Senior Marketing Manager (2013 – December 2015).

An industry ‘search’ specialist Murton has further held marketing managerial positions at Rank Group (2012-2013) and Paddy Power (2011 – 2012).

As Oddschecker’s new Head of Digital Marketing, Murton will be tasked with leading UK and international strategies, as the odds comparison portal looks to extend its profile and product comparison verticals’ in the highly competitive affiliate marketing space.

Commenting on joining Oddschecker, Murton said

“I’m very excited for the opportunity to help Oddschecker continue to be the leading affiliate in the iGaming and betting sectors. I’m further excited at the challenge of helping the firm expand its services into international territories”.

Murton will be based out of Oddschecker’s London office and will report to Managing Director Toby Bentall.
