Targeting further fan coverage ahead of the start of the 2015/16 NFL season (start date 10 September), US daily fantasy sports (DFS) operator DraftKings has announced a partnership with restaurant, leisure and entertainment firm Hooters.
The partnership will see an extension of DraftKings ongoing media deal with US sports broadcaster ESPN, as the DFS operator hosts $300,000 Hooters Fantasy Football Challenge.
For the opening six weeks of the NFL season 2015/16 DraftKings’ players will have the opportunity of competing against ESPN football analyst Jon Gruden for a shot at winning $50,000.
DraftKings have supported the special promotion by launching an exclusive ESPN TV campaign promoting the partnership.
Carl Sweat, Chief Marketing Officer of Hooters welcomed DraftKings as partners
