Updating the market on its Q2 corporate performance, Oslo-listed Gaming Innovation Group (GIG) posted an 88% rise in revenues of €4.8 million (£3.4 million) up from Q2 2014’s €2.5 million.
GIG, the operating company of igaming and sports betting brand Guts.com, recorded improvements throughout its core top-line metrics, as a stronger revenue generation translated to gains in Q2 EBITDA earnings of €72,500 (Q2 2014 – €199,000).
GIG governance had highlighted that the operator had undertaken substantial changes to its management and operations during the opening six months of 2015.
In July the operator announced the appointment of Guts.com Managing Director Robin Reed as company CEO, replacing Kjetil Aasen.
The operator would further undertake the launch of its own in-house developed platform iGaming Cloud, which would replace provisions supplied by igaming and sports betting supplier EveryMatrix.
GIG management highlighted that the platform changes were needed in order for the operator’s brands to better target European customers and for the creation of new B2B business channels. Prior to its interim performance publication, GIG announced that it had signed a set of new clients to its iGaming Cloud platform, as the operator looks to grow its B2B services in the remainder of 2015.
