Sporting Index unveils new desktop site

SportingindexSpread betting operator Sporting Index has launched an all new-website for desktop users featuring partial cash-outs, quick filters and improved functionality to manage positions.

A period of deep analytical study of customer journeys was launched in July 2014 by the spread-betting firm, which led to the first phases of development in early December 2014.

Key feedback from clients including faster filtering and individual tailoring has been incorporated into the new site, which launches to the public on today following a short beta testing period.

The new site, which will be joined by a brand new responsive mobile version later this year, gives bettors the option of partially cashing out to help control their positions as well as the ability to sort open bets by profitability and time.

Sporting Index clients will also be able to select ‘favourites’ that can then be accessed with one click from the home page.

Other key features of the new Sporting Index site include:

  • New top menu allowing for easier navigation to markets
  • Recently viewed and favourites panels running down the left hand side of the page to allow bettors to access their preferred sports within one click
  • An all new up next tab that displays all events to be traded in play over the next 24 hours
  •  Easy to use market filters on meeting pages
  • ·         Ability to sort bets by time and profitability to help position management

Gregory Karaolis, Web and Mobile Product Manager of Sporting Index, said: “The new website has been wholly designed with our clients in mind and launches at a very exciting time for Sporting Index.

“The initial feedback has been extremely positive and we can’t wait to share our new mobile site with the public later in the year. Building a new website from scratch is a long process, but all of the hard work has paid off as we now boast a best in class product that we’ll be adding even more innovative features in time.”
