Having gained its  UK Gambling Commission (UKGC) operator license, Isle of Man and Philippines-based online sportsbook 12BET  has confirmed it has become the Official Betting Partner to Swansea City AFC for the 2016/2017  English Premier League season. The deal will see 12BET promoted throughout the Swansea City Liberty Stadium and the football clubs digital inventory.

12BET, have previously utilised football shirt sponsorship to increase their brand coverage in target markets, the operator has  previously been Shirt Sponsors of LA Liga (Spain) outfit Sevilla, Wigan Athletic and Hull City FC, as well as previously having partnerships with Newcastle United and Crystal Palace.  The betting operator will join forces with ‘the Swans’ as the Welsh football club embarks on its fifth successive campaign in the Barclays Premier League. 

Rory Anderson, 12BET CEO commented, ‘We have wanted to work with Swansea for some time now.  It’s a well-run club and the Commercial team there has really taken on board what we are trying to achieve with this sponsorship.  Between the club and ourselves, we have come up with some innovative ways to make this partnership stand out’.

Swansea City’s Vice-Chairman and Commercial Director, Leigh Dineen, said: “We are delighted to team up with 12BET for the first time.They are an established global company that has built up an excellent reputation within the football fraternity in recent years.

“There are already some exciting projects in the pipeline as part of their Official Betting Partnership and we are looking forward to working with everyone at 12BET over the course of the campaign.’’
