Boylesports suspends One Direction break-up market

Irish bookmaker Boylesports has sent online gossip and entertainment portals into overdrive by reporting that it has suspended its odds on Niall Horan being the next band member to leave One Direction.

The bookmaker revealed that during the weekend it had seen a flurry of bets placed on Horan to announce his departure from the boyband. Boylesports further publicised that it had taken a €500 wager on his departure from a punter in Horans native hometown of Mullingar County Westmeath (Ireland).

For weeks, UK media has speculated on the future of the X Factor founded boyband following the departure of Zayn Malik last March. Furthermore online entertainment portals have reported of in fighting between band members and burnout.

Boylesports PR Spokesman Liam Glynn, commented on the suspension of the market:

“Our traders had to suspend betting at 11:30am on Monday morning after another large bet was placed on Niall in his native county to be the next member to leave One Direction.

“If Niall is the next member to leave One Direction; One Thing for sure is that we are in for battering of a five figure amount from cagey punters across the Midlands. One Way or Another, the sell by date on One Direction looks set to expire sooner rather than later judging by the support for Niall to leave over the past few days.”
