Boylesports extends Irish Grand National title sponsorship

boyleshorsesBoylesports has announced that it will extend its title sponsorship of the Irish Grand National for a further two years (2015-2016).

The bookmaker’s title sponsorship will make the Irish Grand National into the most valuable jumps race in the Irish racing calendar, following the confirmation of a €25,000 increase in prize money to €275,000 for the race at the Easter Festival of Racing at Fairyhouse.

Next year’s steeplechase will take place on Easter Monday, 6 April 2015.

“We are really excited at the extension of our fabulous partnership with Boylesports who are helping us to really drive the Easter Festival in popularity which has grown so much in recent years again,” said Fairyhouse general manager Peter Roe.

“We are also extremely proud and excited about hosting what is now the most valuable jumps race in Ireland which will really add to the excitement and hopefully bring even greater crowds to our Easter Festival of Racing.”

“With the sponsorship extension of the Boylesports IGN and the Irish Greyhound Derby, Boylesports are privileged to be associated with the two most prestigious and valuable events in the Irish sporting calendar,” said Boylesports chief executive, John Boyle.
