Dafabet has announced that it will continue its title sponsorship of the Masters Snooker Tournament. The online betting operator confirmed that it renewed sponsorship terms for a further three years with tournament organisers World Snooker.
Dafabet has sponsored the international Snooker tournament since 2014, its association will now run until 2017. The Masters Snooker is televised globally by UK public-service broadcaster the BBC and boasts a top prize of £200,000 (€260,000/$320,000). The next Masters Snooker tournament will be held at London’s Alexander Palace 11 – 18 January 2015.
World Snooker Chairman Barry Hearn said: “Since 1975, the Masters has been recognised as a very special event as it brings together snooker’s elite. Dafabet have backed several snooker events including the World Championship and the Champion of Champions. They clearly recognise the massive global appeal of our sport and its potential to reach hundreds of millions of people.”
