Bwin.party sports betting brand BWin.com, announced that it had agreed three high coverage media deals for Italy, as the operator looks to expand its presence in the region. BWin will aim to ramp up brand coverage in the coming months, focusing on Serie A football programming.
The operator revealed that it had renewed its broadcast partnership with Mediaset Premium, which will see the brand continue to sponsor popular football show “Serie BWin”.
Additionally BWin announced that it had agreed broadcast terms with Sky Calcio, Italy’s dedicated Serie A channel, to host sponsored betting segments on live football match broadcasts. The BWin betting segments will be fronted by TV presenter and actress Francesca Belussi. The branded segment content will give viewers details on BWin odds for upcoming Serie A football matches.
BWin further announced the sponsorship of Italian sports radio broadcaster Radio Sportiva. BWin will host a phone in program called BWin café.
Bwin.party senior management had outlined at the start of 2014, that the operator would look to improve performance and brand coverage in regulated European igaming markets. At the start of the 2014/2015 Serie A football championship, the operator had signed a multi-content betting partnership with Serie A Champions Juventus FC.
