Matchbook.com exits Canada

Sports betting exchange Matchbook.com, issued a statement to their Canadian player base announcing that the operator would no longer accept wagers from Canada.

The betting exchange operator, has requested all Canadian players to begin to withdraw funds from their Matchbook.com accounts. In an email sent to players, the operator stated that from Wednesday the 23^rd of July, it would no longer accept any wagers from Canadian Jurisdiction.Affected players have been given till the 22^nd of August 2014, to withdraw their player funds from the betting exchange.

Matchbook.com senior management decided to exit the Canadian sports betting market, after a comprehensive review of its operations.
