Defending champions Manchester City travel to Newcastle, while Liverpool play host to Southampton at Anfield on August 16th, one of only two sides to inflict a rare home defeat on the Reds in the 2013-14 campaign.
Last year’s top two square off against each other a week later at the Etihad, while the first Merseyside derby falls on September 27th. Manchester United make the short trip across the city to face their noisy neighbours on November 11th.
The opening round fixtures kick off on August 16th:

- Leicester City v Everton
- Liverpool v Southampton
- Manchester United v Swansea City
- Newcastle United v Manchester City
