W88 remains as Leicester City betting partner for 2020/21 campaign

W88 has renewed its deal with Leicester City Football Club meaning that the Asian betting company will continue as the Premier League side’s official betting partner for the 2020/21 campaign.

As a result of the renewal, W88 will continue to gain brand exposure during Leicester City match days via the club’s pitch-side LED advertising boards. Moreover, the firm will be able to leverage the Premier League side’s brand in its marketing activities whilst also being given the opportunity to create content featuring the club’s football stars.

Hilly Ehrlich, Business Development Manager at W88, said: “We’re delighted to continue our partnership with Leicester City Football Club for the 20/21 season which allows us the opportunity to grow our brand globally.

“As well as the excellent awareness the partnership brings to us, delivering content together with the players helps bring our customers closer to the action.”

W88 first signed with Leicester City at the start of the 2018/19 campaign with the company boasting a strong presence in Asia, a lucrative market for many football clubs. The entities’ continued relationship will see Leicester continue to grow its reputation in the continent whilst also providing W88 with a new potential global customer base.

Harj Hir, Head of Partnerships at Leicester City, stated: “We’re really pleased that W88 are continuing their partnership with us. It’s great to have such an ambitious brand on board and we look forward to creating more unique content with them for our fans in the UK and around the world to enjoy.”

In recent years, W88 has slowly integrated itself into the Premier League through a range of partnerships and activations. Whilst also partnering with Leicester City, the betting firm is a front-of-short sponsor for Crystal Palace, having also been a partner for Aston Villa last season.
